What is "Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)"?
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a scientific, evidence-based approach to understanding behavior and the factors that influence it. By identifying the function of behavior, ABA uses individualized interventions to teach meaningful alternative skills. Clinical decisions are guided by objective observation, ongoing data collection, and continuous evaluation of progress. Using research-supported strategies and best practices, ABA promotes lasting behavior change and skill development across home, school, and community settings.

There is no single cause for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Research shows it is primarily rooted in genetics (60-90%), influenced by a complex combination of DNA variations and early-life environmental factors that affect brain development.
ABA has no clinical age limit and can be beneficial across the entire lifespan. However, the ideal window for early intervention is between 18 months and 6 years old. During these foundational years, the brain is most receptive, and therapy can significantly accelerate developmental milestones in communication, play, and social.
Progress varies for every child. Some children begin showing improvements immediately, while others may demonstrate progress within days, weeks, or several months for more complex goals. Consistency and caregiver involvement play an important role in accelerated results.
Absolutely. Parent coaching and collaboration are a necessary part of ABA. Learning techniques at home reinforces skills and ensures consistency in daily routines.
No. While ABA is widely recognized for supporting individuals with autism, it is an evidence-based approach that can benefit people of all ages who are working toward meaningful behavior change.
